I don’t think people understand what it’s like to slowly disappear inside your own life. It’s not one big moment. It’s a thousand small ones. Saying yes when you mean no. Letting things go because it’s “not worth the fight.” Until one day you realize you haven’t made a real decision for yourself in years.
